Pink Saucepans!!!

Do you remember Beccy's new kettle. Well I was walking through Marks and Spencers on my way to get some currency (euro and dollar very good exchange rates at the moment so thought I would get stocked up for the year ahead) and what did I see their new range of kitchen ware that immediately made me think of the kettle. I took this photo of the pink saucepans and they had pale green on display as well. They were not very expensive so probably not particularly good quality but lots of fun and they would brighten up the kitchen.

That would be so much fun. Of course, I'd have to throw everything out and start over. Maybe green would work better. (I have a friend who calls that pale green color "grink," by analogy with "pink.")

cookiecrumb/barbara my kitchen has become so unco-ordinated over the years but although I think they're fun I don't think I would ever choose pale colours.

those are so girly and wonderful. enid wonders what the first thing you'd have to make in pink pans would be? everything she can think of that's pink isn't made in a pan. perhaps borscht, if you added the sour cream in the pan and whirled it round a bit.

enid I have never tried borscht but what about Elise's (Simply recipes)red cabbage

At the risk of sounding like a total idiot, what is borscht?

Beccy its a sort of vegetable soup, usually including beet roots.

Sam I don't remember you making it but you may well have. Did I like it as I don't remember?
