500 posts later....
Just thought I might mention that I have now reached the 500 mark and that in the past 16 months I've had a lot of fun and met some some great people.
I haven't quite read all of yesterday's Fun Monday posts but I will get there!
I spent yesterday afternoon at the hospital with my mother. She had to have a small biopsy of an area on her leg that has not been healing. We saw a lovely doctor who pointed out a lot of areas of sun damage, on her face and hands as well as her legs. We now have to wait for the results and the stitches come out next week. It may just be pre-cancerous and heal with the cream that has to be applied twice a day for the next 3-4 weeks. However, if it proves to be otherwise than it might need a bigger operation to remove the affected area and skin grafting was mentioned! We are hoping that the cream is all that will be needed, apparently many fair skinned people have these areas that never develop. Please send good vibes to my mother thank you.

Well done Chris on the Big 500!
My mum had several of those things removed from her face and neck. She loved the sun in her young days. None of them developed into cancer and she lived for years afterwards.

Glad you visited me and left a comment. I hope you will visit me again some time. Those tapes are sermons from a church I used to attend. I definitely need to box those up and put them somewhere else.

Congrats on 500 posts. I stopped in to read your Fun Monday but wanted to let you know that I'll be praying for your mom. My dad recently had a skin cancerous lesion removed from his face, and even though it was cancer, it turned out to be "the good kind" (whatever that means), so not nearly as scary as we initially thought...so hang in there, I'm hoping your mom's will be benign!

Right Samantha and Rebecca just to clear up the little matter of telling you about granny after telling the world.
That did NOT happen I started writing the post which initially was just going to be my 500. Then I sent you an email and I finished the post. What I did not do was change the time I actually published my post.

barbara they had a big robbery here a couple of days ago which made the national news and of course the tragic case of the father who jumped off the balcony with his children lived here and that's been in the news. Not things Bristol would like to be known for!
