I have a thing about magpies and it often gets me into stickie situations........ I can not only see one magpie, its unlucky.... so if I only see one I have to drive around and search for another before I can continue on my way LOL

she 's got attitude
You'd be better off with a rifle with one of those songbird murderers in your sights!
marmie this was one of a pair but the other one was out of shot.
Amrita Magpies certainly have attitude and they scare all the small birds away.
John we've lost all our small birds because of these pests.
Well, what do you expect from a Magpie?
Birds will never pose for me, either.
What kind of magpie is there in your area?
They DO eat the baby birds right out of the nests.
But, to their credit - I've seen them grieve over their own lost mates or chicks.
Pamela not sure on the type of magpie but last year they were attacking the nest of a Blackbird and we never did see any babies.
It still is a great pic!
